We are what we eat. I thought it
important in my quest for fitness and good health to devote some serious
attention to the food I consume. When I start adding new material here,
you will see links in the upper-right corner of the page. The more I started researching food, the more I found out I did not know. Nutrition is still a mysterious subject to me. However, the more I try to learn, the more the mystery is being revealed. I started off my lifestyle change with one simple step - Eliminate Soft Drinks from my diet. There is really nothing good about them, so it was an easy choice for me. A friend recommended that I watch the movie Supersize Me. After watching it, I also eliminated most fast foods from my diet. You should too. Those two simple steps have transformed me. Sure, I still have a long way to go. But now, I'm on the right path and there's no turning back. It's a matter of life and death. Eat well.

The 3 S's Primarily a cooking philosophy, the 3 S's can be applied to other aspects of life. When you prepare food, the meal should be:
Simple - dishes, meals need not be overly complex to be enjoyable. There is no need to jackhammer the senses. Seasonal - cook / eat fresh and in season whenever possible Sublime - meals ought to be exceptional
