I hope that you have enjoyed exploring this site.  As of now, this site is all there is to the CTHA site.  Is CTHA a club?  No.  Can I send money to CTHA?  No.  Are there any dues?  No.  Can I join?  Yes...sort of.  Basically what I want to do is inspire Christian metal detectorists and treasure hunters to share their faith in the field.  If the interest is there, I may begin printing a newsletter in the future.  I don't want that to overshadow the primary vision of sharing the love of Jesus with every person we can.  I do hope to print up some metal detecting/treasure hunting T-shirts with a Christian message included.  It may sound cheesy but T-shirts and logos, etc., are excellent ways to start conversations.  You would not believe how many people have approached me when I was wearing a T-shirt or Colors (back patch) for the Christian Motorcyclists Association.

What can you do now?

1. When you go out...look for opportunities to share your faith and do it.
2. Let me know if you are interested in participating in an organization like CTHA.

Jesus said to his disciples "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."   If God led you to this page, perhaps he is letting you know that He'd like you to begin sharing your faith with others.

This is my prayer:  "Father in heaven, Jesus said that the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.  He also said to His disciples to ask you  to send out workers into your harvest field.  Father, right now I ask you to do just that.  Will you send out workers to your harvest field?  Will you please stir in my heart and the hearts of others who will read this page a deep desire to be obedient to your great commission?  Father thank you for all that you've done in my life.  Please show us where and in whom you are currently working and how we can be a part of your plans.  Please lead and guide us as we endeavor to be obedient to your calling in our lives.  Thank you Lord.  In the name of Jesus and by the authority of His name I ask these things, Amen."
