Slow Race – 1 up

Set up:

3 lanes approx. 20 ft

Finish Line

The game:

Upon signal from the official, the 2 slow-racers lift their feet from the ground and proceed to run the course at the slowest possible speed. Last person across the finish line wins. The other person wins if your bike goes outside the boundaries or you put your foot to the ground. The winner of the race does not have to have a "clean" run if his opponent is disqualified first. For example, if rider #1 puts his foot down 10 seconds into the race and rider #2 goes out of bounds 12 seconds into the race, Rider #2 proceeds to the next round. Game continues in a single elimination fashion until one player remains as the ultimate winner. A rider runs the complete course when his or her rear wheel crosses the finish line.

Supplies:

Spray Paint or rope/ribbon & stakes

Key Off Backwards Speed Race – 1 up

Set Up:

One lane approx. 10 feet

Finish Line

The Game:

This is a timed event – one player at a time. Rider turns off engine. With rear wheel at the starting line, rider pushes motorcycle backwards until front wheel crosses the finish line. Rider can be on the bike, off the bike, in front of the bike or wherever. Rider is disqualified if his or her motorcycle goes out of bounds. Lowest time wins the event

Supplies:

Stop watch, Spray Paint or rope/ribbon & stakes (use slow race track center lane).

Box turn – 1 up

Set Up:

12’ x 12’ box

Starting box

The Game:

Rider enters the box and proceeds to do 180 degree turn and exit the box as close to the entry point as possible. Rider who finishes closest to their entry point without being disqualified wins. Rider is disqualified if his or her feet touch the ground or the motorcycle crosses out of the box anywhere other than the start/finish line

Supplies:

Tape measure

Spray paint or rope & stakes

Blind Man’s Barrel Race – 2 up (2 or 3 wheels)

Set Up:

Blind Fold Driver.

Place 3 Traffic Cones In barrel race formation

Start/finish line

The Game:

This is a timed event. Motorcycle is lined up on starting line. Driver is blindfolded. Driver keeps feet down throughout the event to steady the motorcycle. Passenger guides driver through a clover-leaf barrel race. Timer stops when motorcycle crosses the start/finish line again.

Supplies:

Blind Fold

Stop watch

3 Traffic Cones or some other obstacle.

Blindfolded Beanbag Drop (into bucket) – 2 up

Setup:

Blindfold passenger

1 lane

4 buckets – staggered – outside the lane (2 on each side)

The Game:

Passenger is blindfolded and given the 4 beanbags. Driver proceeds down path. Passenger holds out arms and releases one beanbag at a time upon the rider’s verbal command "drop." The team with the most bean bags in the cans wins. For example, passenger gets 3 bean bags in 3 cans then the driver puts his foot down before the fourth bag is dropped. A score of "3" is recorded for that run.

Supplies:

4 bean bags

4 buckets, cans, or tires, Spray Paint or rope & stakes

Beanbag Toss – 1 or 2 up

Setup:

3 lanes

4 buckets – staggered – outside the outer lanes (2 on each side)

The Game:

Rider lines up on center lane. Upon commencement of run, the passenger proceeds to toss the beanbags into the buckets. Team with the most beanbags in the buckets wins. For example, passenger gets 3 bean bags in 3 cans then the driver puts his foot down before the fourth bag is dropped. A score of "3" is recorded for that run. A single rider can choose to run the race alone if he or she so chooses. They will compete with the 2-up teams.
